Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to lead and grow our travel agency’s sales operations in Saudi Arabia. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing sales strategies, building client relationships, and driving revenue growth across corporate, leisure, and group travel segments.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the corporate, leisure, and inbound/outbound travel sectors.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, travel partners, airlines, and tourism boards.
Lead and manage the sales team; monitor performance, provide training, and set KPIs.
Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients and service providers.
Collaborate with the marketing team to launch promotions and campaigns to attract customers.
Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitor activity.
Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and presentations for senior management.
Ensure excellent customer service and satisfaction at every stage of the sales process.
Attend travel fairs, expos, and networking events to promote the agency.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Tourism, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, preferably in the travel, tourism, or hospitality industry.
Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Fluent in English; Arabic is an advantage.
Strong knowledge of the Saudi market and travel trends.
Preferred Skills:
Familiarity with GDS systems (Amadeus, Sabre, etc.)
Existing network in the corporate travel or tourism sector
Experience in handling inbound tourism or Umrah/Hajj packages
